This policy explains how Another Becoming, the trading name of Emilia Dejka-Lopes ("I", "me"), collects and uses your personal information. I'm the data controller. You can contact me through the enquiry form or at .
What I collect
- Enquiries: your name, email, the experience you're interested in, your general area for in-person sessions, and your message.
- Letters and book list: your email address, only if you choose to join.
- Bookings: the details needed to arrange and confirm your session, and payment records.
- Health questionnaire: for breathwork and some other sessions, I ask about relevant health information. This is collected privately, never through this website, and only with your explicit consent.
Why I use it
- To reply to your enquiry and arrange sessions (taking steps at your request before a contract).
- To keep you safe in sessions (your explicit consent, for health information).
- To send the Letters or book news (your consent, which you can withdraw at any time).
- To keep records required by law, such as for tax.
Who helps me
Enquiry forms are processed by Netlify, the website host. Email is handled by Zoho Mail. If I introduce online payments or an email newsletter tool, they'll be listed here. Some providers may store data outside the UK, with appropriate safeguards in place.
How long I keep it
Enquiries that don't lead to a booking are deleted within 12 months. Client records, including health questionnaires, are kept only as long as needed for safety, insurance and legal purposes, and then securely deleted. You can leave the Letters at any time.
Cookies
This website doesn't use tracking or advertising cookies. Fonts are currently loaded from Google Fonts, which receives your device's IP address when a page loads.
Your rights
You can ask to see, correct or delete your information, object to its use, or withdraw consent. If you're unhappy with how your data is handled, you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ico.org.uk).
